Jessy Nwuba, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC, has more than 15 years of experience in psychiatric and primary health care and is passionate about serving her community at JC Health Group in Colonial Heights, Virginia.

Dr. Nwuba graduated from Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital in Nnewi, Nigeria, with an associate’s degree in nursing. She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing. She graduated with distinction with her master’s degree in public health from Northumbria University in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, England. She also completed her doctor of nursing practice degree at South College in Knoxville, Tennessee. Dr. Nwuba earned her post-master’s certification in psychiatric mental health nursing from Herzing University.

Dr. Nwuba values her time creating a partnership with her patients through open communication. She provides evidence-based and accessible psychiatric services to manage conditions like depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and takes a holistic approach to care.
